Hello Everyone,

For those of you, who are new to our site, welcome! For those who are revisiting welcome to you and thanks for the support.

The winter is still upon us and there are still some upcoming events that many of you may be truly interested in. We have the Chainsaw Carving Festival which lasts a week the last week of February. Please visit pagreatoutdoors.com for all the events and schedules.

Saint Patrick's Day Weekend will be celebrated here in our Irish Pub March 14 -16, 2008 and it is our big event of the winter. Packages are available on the website or you can call 1-800-648-6743.

The Annual Half Marathon and 5K is March 28-30, 2008, and we offer not only a one and two night package for our runners, but also discounts on the Spa services and our sister restaurant Sweet Basil in Clarion on Route 66. Wine Tasting Weekend - April 11- 12, 2008. Enjoy our Annual Wine Tasting weekend. Begin your weekend with a sample of the wines to come with a gift basket in your room of wines from the Foxburg Winery. This year we will add a visit on Saturday to the Foxburg Inn, a local winery, for wine tasting followed by lunch at the Allegheny River Front Restaurant. Transportation to and from the Winery and lunch will be provided.

That evening enjoy a five course meal prepared by Chef Patrick Brezenski a Twenty year veteran of the lodge. You will choose from a spectacular menu and drink some of the finest and most popular wines of the year. Live piano music in the dining room and a chef prepared breakfast Sunday morning. Packages start in our queen rooms at, $399.00 per couple.

Cinco de Mayo Weekend May 2-4, 2008. Celebrate with a weekend of Mexican Cuisine, finest tequila and live music on the hill, (weather permitting) in our outdoor cabana bar. Experience Cinco de Mayo as if you were in Mexico. Mexican food, Mexican drinks & fine Tequila.

Mothers Day Weekend May 9-11, 2008. We will celebrate this weekend by offering a Mother-Daughter weekend or a couple's weekend. Two nights lodging, with dinner for two one night and a bottle of wine or champagne, a Spa for two, cooked breakfast Sunday Morning. The Mom's will also leave with a $50.00 gift certificate for a future stay. Packages start in a Queen Room at, $465.00 per couple.

Memorial Day Weekend May 23-26, 2008. As we do every year we have our barbeque on Friday night in the cabana, and our live entertainment on the hill on Saturday night. Enjoy just a float down the river, some hiking, maybe some time in the Spa or just hang around in the Pub. This is the big start to the summer and the area will be a buzz with so many things to do. Open House Weekend June 6-8, 2008. Our 18th annual Open House this year will be a fund raiser again for the Make a Wish foundation. Begin the weekend Friday in the Cabana with a barbeque and live entertainment starting at 6:00 p.m. THE FORSYTH SPECIAL WILL BE APPEARING ON FRIDAY NIGHT AND ANOTHER LIVE BAND ON SATURDAY. Saturday enjoy a friendly game of Texas Holdem in the cabana. IN the afternoon the Cabana Bar will be open ALL DAY. That night at 8:00 p.m. ENTERTAINMENT WILL BEGIN.

Sunday from 1:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. we will have food, music, and as always the staff will have some great theme for you to enjoy. Remember this weekend is also to raise money for the local Make a Wish Foundation.

Fathers Day Weekend June 13-15, 2008. Celebrate with your Dad or husband or friend on the hill with what dad knows best. Friday night, rib and chicken barbeque with ice cold draft beer in our cabana, 1335 feet above the Clarion River surrounded by the Allegheny Mountains. Saturday enjoy a quiet day on the river or we can accommodate you and your guests at Mayfield Golf Course or Pine crest Golf Course. We will set up your tee times and for whoever you leave behind they can spend the day getting pampered in the Spa.

DATES TO REMEMBER: July 4-6 (falls on a weekend), Nantucket Weekend August 22nd 23, 2008. These both book very quickly.
